Yeah I was very confused at first until the next page. I then realized the house that’s being ran out of is Granny Grudge’s house.

I hope this will become clearer as more comic pages become available, but since you took the time to comment I’ll try to explain. The Gatekeeper’s brother came to Granny Grudge to purchase a curse. He did not realize Granny and the Gatekeeper were friends. Granny cursed the brother instead of the Gatekeeper, because she was offended someone would try to harm her friend.
